Roevehagh Church Built in 1820 to succeed Castlerock Church it was reconstructed by Christopher T Redington in 1873. It was designed by George Ashlin, the Gothic revivalist. It was renovated and modernised in the 1970s and the ornate ceiling was removed but the transfer of the marble altar from the Sisters of Charity Convent to Roevehagh restored some of its previous beauty.
