There are a few varieties of duck including Indian Runners and Common Ducks. Indian Runners are good layers and are mostly table fowl. It is hens that always hatch ducks, rarely that ducks hatch. When the small ducks hatch, they should not be let into the yard for a while. Hey are fed on meal and water.
