Limehill Mill

Consists of a disused corn mill situated in the courtyard of Limehill House, Duniry near Loughrea. The cast iron framework of the water wheel survives but the wooden boards are missing. This mill is depicted on the 6″ first edition and the 25″ OS maps. The various sluices and races operating the mill are highlighted. The Ryan family hope to conserve this fine piece of industrial heritage. A millstone is displayed at the entrance gate.
