Carrowmoreknock Boat, logboat, circa 1000 CE, 19.8 feet (6m) long, discovered by Northage 2012, artefacts: 4 intact thwarts (plank seats), 3 Viking-style battle-axes with cherry wood handles (displayed in The National Museum’s Battle of Clontarf Exhibit in 2014), 2 darts, one bronze work axe, one spearhead, one dagger pommel, one large pink sandstone slab, and one piece of conglomerate rock.
