Rent is 15 shillings an acre. The tenants have leases during the minority of the Prop. Soil is a reclaimed mountain or bog. There are nearly 50 acres of uncultivated ground. There are the ruins of an old church on the south boundary of this townland.

The head of the household was Patrick Cormican. The household had a total of 2 outhouses consisting of 1 stable and 1 piggery.

Patrick Cormican (64) was a married to Nappy Cormican (65). They had 3 children Patrick Cormican (33), Margaret Cormican (27), and Thomas Cormican (25). They also lived with Patrick’s brother, Thomas Cormican (34), and his mother Nappy Cormican (74). Thomas was a farm labourer. William and Mary were scholars. Patrick, Rose, Thomas, and Nappy spoke Irish and English. Patrick and Rose could read and write, and Thomas and Nappy could only read. The family was Roman Catholic and were all born in Galway.
