This is the smallest known Sheela na Gig in Ireland. These medieval carvings are found on Churches and Secular Buildings in Ireland. usually a grotesque female character is seen touching or exposing her genitals. In some cases male carvings have been found. This carvings is located on Merlin Park Castle Co. Galway. It was recorded using a Canon camera on an extension pole, as the carving is located on upper window of the Tower house in Merlin park
