The Battle of Aughrim Visitor Centre is ideal as a platform for a variety of projects and excursions. Children and teachers can gain fulfilment from learning about this historical site. There’s even a miniature version of the battlefield in a park beside the centre, which children love to visit. Children under 12 can enjoy the adjacent playground.

We recommend a short visit by a teacher/group leader beforehand. This ensures you’ll be fully prepared for the actual visit and allows our guide to help you to formulate a plan for bringing schoolchildren and familiarise yourself with our COVID-19 protocols.
