Welcome to Nogra and District and District Heritage Group on Galway County Heritage Office website.

Our mission is to identify, explore, document, protect, and promote the local history and heritage of Nogra and the surrounding districts, through its people, places and topics and its strong links with Aughinish and Island Eddy.

An Cnoc Garbh (Nogra) is a sub-townland of Mountscribe, one of 16 townlands in Doorus part of the civil parish of Kinvaradoorus in the barony of Kiltartan, Co. Galway.
