CD: And did you ever make the butter?

PM: My mother used to make it

CD: And how would you make butter?

PM: What?

CD: How would you make do it?

PM: She had two pattons and she’d take out the butter and she’d go like that…my mother

CD: Right

PM: Out of the churn

CD: It was a timber churn, was it?

PM: It was, yeah

CD: And there was a handle on it?

PM: There was

CD: And you could eat it straight away out of the churn then, could you?
