Céim 3 & Céim 4 thart ar an 16ú & an 17ú Céad.

Céim 6 thart ar an 19ú Céad.

Céim 7 thart ar an 20ú Céad.

Tosaíodh ar Shéipéal Naomh Muire a thógáil i rith an 13ú Céad. Blocanna saoirsithe aolchloiche a úsáideadh. Loisc muintir Chlann Riocaird an séipéal sa bhliain 1574. Cé go bhfuil an Séipéal Protastúnach in úsáid mar Ionad Oidhreachta faoi láthair, tá ballaí an 13ú Céad fágtha faoi fhásach gan chóir.

St Mary’s Church

There were seven phases of the construction of St. Mary’s Church.

Phase 1 was around the 13th Century.

Phase 2 was around the 14th Century.

Phase 3 & 4 was around the 16th & 17th Centuries.

Phase 6 was around the 19th Century.

Phase 7 was around the 20th Century.

St. Mary’s Church started construction in the 13th Century. The Church was constructed of shaped limestone blocks. The Church was burned by the Clanrickards in 1574. Although the Protestant Church is in use now as a Heritage Centre. The remains of the 13th Century are overgrown and neglected.
