Contains a. r. p. (384 acres, 1 rood and 22 perches), ¾ of which is bog, the remainder arable and pasture. The arable part of this townland is dry and of a good quality. The bog is flat and wet. It is the property of Lord Ffrench who holds it by deed for ever. It pays £10. 4s. 1d. County Cess.

Lies in the North of this parish in the Barony of Killian is bounded in this parish and said barony by Gowla townland, by Castle Ffrench West in the Barony of Kilconnel, by Castle Ffrench in the Parish of Killosolan in said Barony, by Cornanantybeg and Ballanvoher in the parish of Killeroran, Barony of Killian and by Mucklin in the parishiof Taughboy in said barony.
