Clooncannon (Kelly) is situated in a central part of this parish in the Barony of Cloonmacnoon, bounded by Clooncannon Dillon and Kilglass in said Barony, by Ballyboggan in the Barony of Kilconnel and by Creggaun Dillon, Creggaun Concannon, Creggaun MacHugh, Eskermore, Gowla and Cloonshee, Rochfort townlands in Killian Barony. It is about 2½ miles N. of Ahascragh.

Census of Ireland (1821- 1911)

Griffith’s Valuation (1847 – 1864)

Plot 1a: Edward Lennon and John F. Lennon had, in fee, a house, offices and land with an area of 391 acres, 3 roods and 12 perches that had an annual ratable valuation of £175 10s for the land and £9 for the buildings.

Plot 1b: James Ward leased a house with a garden of 2 roods and 6 perches from Edward and John F. Lennon for which he paid 5s for the garden and also 5s for the house.

Plot 1c: Bridget Concannon paid 5s for a house to Edward and John F. Lennon.
