Convent School Dormitory
Oranmore Heritage

Where Armorica restaurant is, was once called St Anne’s, forming a semi-detached house with St Mary’s. They were a bar and grocery owned by Polly Cullinane. She bequeathed the buildings to the Presentation Sisters who used them as accommodation for the boarders attending their school. The Presentation Sisters had originally lived in the house across the road before their Convent was built. Beside St Mary’s there was a lane to the river called Bothar na gCapall.
