Eastwell lies in the south west of the civil parish of Killallaghtan barony of Kilconnell Co Galway. It is bounded by Ballymabilla, Lackagh and Doonaree in the said barony and by Ballydonnellan West in the barony of Cloonmacnoon in this parish. It is bounded by Ballanlaur, Ballantuber East and Glanaskehy in the parish of Killreekil and barony of Athenry. It is about 7 miles East of Loughrea and 4 miles West South West of Aughrim.
