The cow house is a house for cows with a manger and ties. The cow is tied with a chain to a steak driven into the ground or to iron pins in the walls. After milking the sign of the cross is made for luck. Horses also have a house or stable that is regularly cleaned. There was a great horse once in Clonbrock but it was stolen and never seen again.
