Griffith’s Valuation (1847-1864) for Duck Island

The Griffith’s Valuation (1847-1864) shows that the townland of Duck Island was owned by Mary Anne Nolan and she leased a number of tenements on the 8 acres and 3 roods of the Island all were of land. John Mullen paid John Mullin paid 6s, Robert Adley paid 6s, Edward O’Malley paid 3s, Barthw (sic) Cloherty paid 3s, Patrick Conneely paid 5s and Patrick McCormack paid 6s. Michael Mullin paid 1s, Patrick Barrett, Martin Conneely and Thomas Ridge each paid 2s and William Conneely paid 1s.
