FURBOUGH, a small boat harbour, in the parish of Rahoon, barony of Moycullen, co. Galway, Connaught. It is situated on Galway bay, 3 miles west of Barna, and 6 west by south of Galway; and through devoid of some good qualities, is occasionally useful to small craft. In its vicinity is Furbough- house, the delightfully situated residence of A. W. Blake, Esq.
